Affiliation: Guardian Force
Branch/Specialty: Guardian Force Scouts
Scout Ship: Shey
Partner/Crewmate: Commander Zorn
Home World: Glas Dinnein
Roan is a highly decorated Guardian Force commander and veteran Scout who has served alongside Zorn for decades. Survivors of space warfare, the two have developed an extraordinary level of trust, along with a constant exchange of jokes, wagers, and arguments over cold brews.
Cautious but never timid, Roan approaches the unknown with a simple philosophy: assume it has “big sharp teeth” until proven otherwise. He is independent, instinctive, and willing to take calculated risks when he believes the opportunity justifies them.
That reputation has earned Roan and Zorn recognition as accomplished rogues, officers who occasionally stretch Guardian Force protocol but repeatedly deliver results.
Roan shares an unusual relationship with Shey, the advanced Scout AI under his command. As Shey begins displaying signs of genuine self-awareness, Roan treats her with encouragement and respect rather than simply as a machine.
Roan plays a pivotal role in Guardian Force’s discovery of Earth. He takes the initiative in establishing direct contact with Susie Wells and ultimately brings her aboard Shey and Lan, creating one of humanity’s first direct connections with Guardian Force.
Veteran. Independent. Cautious. Decisive. Highly decorated. A calculated risk-taker who sees opportunities and acts on them.
