Meet The Guardians
Commander Zorn
A highly decorated Guardian Force commander and veteran of space warfare, Zorn has served alongside Commander Roan for decades aboard Shey. Analytical, technically gifted, and combat-experienced, he handles many of the ship’s tactical, sensor, and weapons operations.
Zorn balances that experience with a dry sense of humor, fierce loyalty, and a willingness to bend the rules when the situation demands it. Alongside Roan, he plays a central role in the discovery of Earth and humanity’s First Home.
Commander Roan
Guardian Force Scout | Scout Ship Shey
A highly decorated Guardian Force commander and veteran of space warfare, Roan has served alongside Commander Zorn for decades aboard the scout ship Shey. Cautious but fiercely independent, Roan believes unknown threats should be treated as if they have “big sharp teeth” and that there is no reason to fight fair.
Known as something of a rogue, Roan has a talent for recognizing opportunities and taking calculated risks. His instincts eventually place him at the center of Guardian Force’s discovery of Earth and its first contact with Susie Wells.
Loyal to Zorn and deeply connected to Shey, Roan is the kind of commander who sees an opening, makes the call, and worries about explaining himself afterward.
Sub-Lieutenant Elayne Cloud
Science Officer | Guardian Ship Lan
Young, intelligent, and fiercely independent, Elayne Cloud serves as a science officer aboard Lan. She is also the granddaughter of Admiral Ron Cloud, Chief of Guardian Force Intelligence, a relationship she deliberately keeps private.
Elayne wants her career built on her own abilities, not her family name. Her scientific assignment aboard Lan places her at the center of Guardian Force’s extraordinary discovery of Earth and the mysteries that follow.
Fleet Admiral Mer Shawn
Senior Command | Guardian Force
Fleet Admiral Mer Shawn is one of Guardian Force’s senior military leaders, serving alongside Admirals Ron Cloud and Dylan Cord. Experienced, pragmatic, and authoritative, Mer expects results but readily recognizes initiative and achievement among the officers under his command.
He also serves as an important link between Guardian Force and Glas Dinnein’s civilian leadership, defending military decisions at the highest levels of government.
Behind the authority is a loyal commander and longtime friend who still appreciates celebrating a successful mission over a cold brew.
Susie Wells & Gepeto
Earth’s First Ambassador to Glas Dinnein
Curious, courageous, and fiercely independent, Susie Wells becomes one of humanity’s first links to Guardian Force. Her determination to investigate the unexplained ultimately takes her from Earth aboard Shey and Lan, and eventually to Glas Dinnein as Earth’s first Ambassador.
At her side throughout the journey is Gepeto, her loyal and unusually perceptive companion. Protective, attentive, and inseparable from Susie, Gepeto becomes a welcome member of the Guardian family in his own right.
William
Susie Wells’ Computer & AI Companion
William is Susie Wells’ highly advanced computer and trusted digital companion. Far more than a machine for storing and analyzing information, William communicates with Susie, helps her investigate the mysteries surrounding Guardian Force, and becomes an important link between Earth and the technology she encounters.
Intelligent, inquisitive, and distinctly personable, William has a presence all his own. Like Gepeto, he isn’t simply equipment Susie brings on the journey. He’s part of the crew.
Admiral Dylan Cord
Commander | Guardian Fleet Operations
Admiral Dylan Cord commands Guardian Fleet Operations, turning the decisions of Guardian Force’s senior leadership into action. Decisive and analytical, he trusts experienced officers while making sure they have the support needed to accomplish their missions.
Alongside Fleet Admiral Mer Shawn and Admiral Ron Cloud, Dylan helps authorize the extraordinary voyage of Lan, the mission that ultimately leads Guardian Force to the discovery of Earth.
Darrell Fann
Senior Manager | Olympus Deep Space Analysis Division
Darrell Fann is an experienced intelligence analyst whose investigation of unusual activity gradually draws him into the larger mysteries surrounding Earth and Guardian Force. Analytical, resourceful, and willing to follow the evidence wherever it leads, Darrell becomes increasingly involved in planetary defense and deep-space operations.
As the Guardian story expands, so does his role, eventually taking him far beyond Earth's confines.
Admiral Ron Cloud
Commander | Guardian Fleet Intelligence
Admiral Ron Cloud leads Guardian Fleet Intelligence, providing the strategic analysis behind Guardian Force operations. Experienced, perceptive, and highly trusted, Ron helps senior command interpret threats, discoveries, and intelligence that could affect Glas Dinnein and its people.
Alongside Fleet Admiral Mer Shawn and Admiral Dylan Cord, Ron plays a key role in the investigation that ultimately sends Lan across the stars and leads Guardian Force to Earth.
Admiral Secretary Eryan Kyrie
Leader | Glas Dinnein Planetary Government
Eryan Kyrie serves as Admiral Secretary and one of Glas Dinnein’s highest civilian leaders. Thoughtful, authoritative, and accustomed to weighing decisions with enormous consequences, he works closely with Guardian Force’s senior command while maintaining civilian oversight.
The discovery of Earth brings Kyrie face-to-face with humanity’s long-lost First Home and with Susie Wells, Earth’s first Ambassador to Glas Dinnein.
